Lucy Mills is a writer based in the UK. She is a Christian and is married to a Baptist minister. She writes articles, poems, occasional songs, attempts at short stories and even the odd novel or two. She also enjoys speaking. Lucy is on the editorial magazine of Magnet – an ecumenical Christian resources magazine specialising in colourful and meditative content. She’s recently joined the committee of the Association of Christian Writers.
Her main project and closest to her heart is a book about the role of memory in faith, provisionally titled ‘Longing to Remember: reflections of a forgetful heart’.

Welcome to looking deeper - my personal blog where I talk about faith, writing and life in general. I’m naturally eclectic so the content of this blog will reflect that. I enjoy thinking deeply and reflecting on matters of faith. I suffer from Chronic Fatigue and although this blog is not based on that theme, it will naturally come up in certain posts.
I’ve been a Christian from an early age and have long struggled with the clash between cultural distraction and the longing to get to know God more deeply. I long for the longing.
I believe that we all have the ability the change the world, even if only in a small way. Often it all seems too big, so we attempt nothing. Unsurprisingly, nothing happens. I believe we all have our own small ‘something’ to contribute. Together, we can make a difference.

Just thought I’d stop on by to say a huge Happy New Year to you Lucy. We have been connected in a bloggy way for quite a few years now, I think. Have just been reflecting on the fact that I have ended up writing a book and how weird that is after following you and us having wee convos from time to time. Sabbaticalling, thinking, resting, reading and reflecting has been truly wonderful and I wouldnt have changed it for the world, painful though it was at the start.
